About Me

I am a father, husband, and software engineer.

My Life

My wife and I met in college (University of Tulsa) but it wasn’t until after I had graduated that we started dating. She is a wonderful mother and I could never express to her how much she means to me. We have 3 wonderful daughters, Addison, Isabel, and Brinley. We live near Greensboro, North Carolina with our 2 Labs Remmy and Colt.

I was a 4 year starter as the Punter for the University of Tulsa football team from 2003 – 2007.  We went to 3 bowl games (2004 Humanitarian Bowl, 2005 Liberty Bowl, and 2006 Armed Forces Bowl) and won the first Conference USA Championship in 2005.

Work

I am the Backend Director of Engineering at Modern Tribe helping provide technical solutions to enterprise problems on the web.  I work mostly with PHP and JavaScript but depending on the situation, there are a lot of other languages that I can work with. I started working in web development with North Star Marketing where I was able to cut my teeth into the ins and outs of Agency web work. Before focusing on web development, I worked for Wolf Track Software based out of Tulsa, OK.  Wolf Track was a point of sale software company specializing in buy-sell-trade video game stores and small mom-and-pop liquor stores.  At Wolf Track I was primarily working in VB6 and was also responsible for a lot of the day-to-day operations.

I earn a little extra cash running my own web development company, Kindred Web Consulting. I develop/design websites and have started venturing out to developing a few WordPress plugins.
